The Ditch Witch Subsite Fault Finder System consists of Model FT14 transmitter and Model AF2 A-frame detector. Transmitter sends DC pulses down the faulted line, which the detector uses to locate the fault.
This simple, easy-to-use system locates secondary cable faults in direct buried unshielded cables to within inches of the fault, even under snow, frozen ground, at street light circuits, at the meter riser, across driveways, sidewalks, or streets.
KEY FEATURES:

*Easy-to-understand analog meter display indicates the direction of the fault and shows when detector is located directly above the fault.
*Advanced circuitry and an analog meter make quick work of locating faults.
*FT14's fault impedance indicator tells the operator the specific type of fault (break, short, etc.).
*AF2 detector comes with a remote probe for working around obstacles. Both models operate on ordinary, consumer alkaline batteries.
